Hi everybody, Brian from Steeda.com. Here today spotlighting our Coolant Expansion Tanks for the S550 Mustang as well as Shelby GT350 and 350R. From the factory, the S550 Mustang is equipped with a coolant tank and there is two real shortcomings to this. One is the material. It's made of plastic, which is prone to cracking over the years from all the heating and cooling. And as you know when plastic cracks it's not very good at holding fluid. This means as it leaks out the fluid you're doing an unscheduled coolant flush! Now the other thing that's an issue with it, is the amount of coolant that it holds. Especially for you guys that are going forced induction. Either supercharged or twin-turbocharged, you need extra cooling capacity! So here we are with our Steeda, Aluminum Fabricated Expansion Tanks to solve both problems. Let's begin with the functionality. The Steeda Aluminum Expansion Tanks are truly expansion tanks in that they increase the amount of coolant that you can put in your system. This means that you are improving the efficiency of your radiator as well as the cooling of your engine. Now this is going to be very important whether you have gone forced induction with a supercharger or twin-turbocharged or if your just really flogging the car at the racetrack. Now we equip many of our cars with these coolant tanks. Including our Red Q500 car that we have been taking out to Time Trials, Track Days, Autocross cars. Expanding on the performance benefits, the Steeda tanks are constructed of fabricated Aluminum and this means that they're going to be far superior in strength and offer greater capacity to the factory, plastic expansion tank. This is important if you're going out to the race track frequently, autocrossing, drag racing, road racing or simply plan on enjoying your car for many years. These will prove far more reliable. Not only from a strength standpoint but the way they're constructed and speaking of this the billet necks are vented and will reuse the factory vented radiator cap. So you have a nice OE but improved look. We all take great pride in our Mustangs, and the way they look! So make sure that when you open the hood you can capture people's attention, the right way. These things are stunning! They look gorgeous! This is just one of the reasons why we equip them in so many cars but the reality is, your gaining so much in performance that the beauty of them, is just a side benefit.
